No wonder "fisking" has become a common term in the blogosphere. It's like he wants to pretend that those nasty terrorist guys keep away from those poor, innocent civilians. He says:

This slaughter was an obscenity, an atrocity yes, if the Israeli air force truly bombs with the "pinpoint accuracy" it claims, this was also a war crime.
He also says that one of the vicitms asked "What in the name of God have we done to deserve this?"

That's a fair question, because that women and her family had probably not done anything to deserve that. And the Israeli bomb probably did not miss.

But you cannot conflate those two statements to say that Israel intentionally targetted innocent civilians—a necessary assertion for this to have been the war crime that Fisk alleges.

These Hizbollah fighters move in and out of civilian areas. They travel in civilian clothes. They take refuge in civilian buildings. The launch rockets from residential neighborhoods.

What did these innocents do to deserve this? Nothing. What did Israel do to deserve the blame? Almost as little. It is Hizbollah who is to blame for putting these people in harm's way.
