Though I agree entirely, you should at least read this about the Iraqi soccer team: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3584242.stm

Announcements everyone...

Kristinn (http://www.dcchapter.com/) is the newest member of the Axis of Poetry and will be taking over Wednesdays. The blogger who used to hold down Wednesdays, Emperor Darth Misha I (http://www.nicedoggie.net/), has gone on temporary hiatus due to a debilitating colon injury he suffered while visiting backstage at a Toby Keith concert. Misha's replacement in the Axis of Poetry is well-renowned for his relentless stalkings (or freeps) of Hillary Clinton and was voted FreeRepublic (DC Chapter) Port-a-Potty Monitor of the Year 2003. Way to go Kristinn!! Kristinn blogs about Korean War re-enactments, BBQing with handmade spicy cased meats, and the many 'special' uses of high-fructose corn syrup. Special indeed!! Kristinn is also a big Brooks & Dunn fan, which is super excellent!! We all love that Boot scootin' Boogie!!

Welcome aboard Kristinn!!

America "liberated" Eastern Europe, did they? Ever heard of a little thing called "NATO"? France and Germany of course played no part in that, of course!

In any case, I don't think that Iraq has truly been liberated. Remember that case a few weeks back when the Iraqi PM was rumored to have executed several prisoners without even a mock trial?

Sounds like "here comes the old boss, same as the new boss" to me.
